Youth Weekend West - Victoria 2010
Schedule of Events

Youth Weekend West presents a variegated and entertaining schedule of events for the weekend, including Scottish Country dancing classes at three levels, elective dance classes for the adventurous, a Ceilidh on Friday night, and a Ball on Saturday, to which Scottish Country Dancers of all ages are invited. Elective dance classes will include Old-Time Waltz, Highland dancing, Flamenco, uncommon dance features in SCD, and a music workshop.

Friday, May 21 2010:

4:00-5:00pmCheck in at the Embassy Inn.

Saturday, May 22 2010:

7:00pm-11:00pmYouth Weekend Ball (Open to all ages.)
The Ball is your chance to bring out the fancy kilts and dresses, and dance to the music of Calum MacKinnon and Lisa Scott.

Sunday, May 23 2010:

12:15-1:45pmLunch

YWW ends with Sunday lunch, to give you a chance to visit the Victoria Highland Games in the afternoon!

Dance programmes and cheat sheets for the Ceilidh and Ball will be included in your confirmation packages.

Saturday and Sunday lunches are included in the package price, along with snacks at the Ceilidh and tea and goodies at the Ball. Participants are responsible for their own breakfasts and dinners. The Embassy Inn has a restaurant, and there are many cafés, pubs, and bistros nearby.
